Client: The Wall Street Journal and Dow Jones
Role: Lead UX Architect
About: The task of this project was to visualize how the all the WSJ & DJ technologies and processes inter-relate with the subscriber page requests and interactions across devices. I devised a left-to-right user process that traverses through various levels or “stacks” of technology that are necessary to render the final output the user has initiated and requested. This visual model follows an anonymous subscriber as they use the WSJ/DJ websites to visualize which technologies were being used and the statistical breakdown of their uses. This visualization was published on panels around the WSJ/DJ office so employees and visitors can be informed about the relationships between technologies and components to the WSJ subscriber.
